Our Passion for live music

Caledonia Calling was born out of the desire to put the best in emerging musical talent from around the world on our stages in front of geographically marginalised audiences in rural and semi-rural Scotland.  Scotland has, for too long, been under-represented in the touring circuits of independent grassroots artists, and this project is all about changing that!  Our aim is to facilitate opportunities for the smaller communities of Scotland to enjoy and celebrate the very music that our country has influenced for centuries.  Scotland is steeped in a rich cultural history, in which music has always been the beating heart.  Traditional Scottish music is at the root of many modern forms of country, Americana and folk music as we know it today, and bringing the finest artists of these genres to the forefront of the arts scene in Scotland will create incredible opportunities for the artists, the venues and their audiences.
